Every conversion on this site is done by code, and code has bugs. The tools are written carefully and tested against awkward input, but no guarantee is made that a conversion is correct, complete or suitable for what you intend to do with it. Look at the result before you rely on it.
Some conversions lose information because the target format cannot hold it. That is a property of the formats rather than a fault, and each conversion page says what goes missing on the way. Where a page says a value is inferred, guessed or flattened, treat it as something to verify.
Financial and accounting formats
QIF, OFX, QFX and IIF files come out of banks and accounting software and go back into them. A conversion here is a convenience, not a reconciliation. Nothing on this site is accounting, tax, legal or financial advice, and the output should be checked against your statement before it is imported anywhere that matters.

The site is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the extent the law allows, no liability is accepted for loss or damage arising from using it or from relying on anything it produces. Since your files are never uploaded, the original stays with you; keep it until you have confirmed the conversion did what you wanted.
